We have great news for you: to help you discover the features and benefits of Janby Track, the Janby Track Mini license is now free for all SmartVide XL users. You won’t need any additional equipment or have to enter payment details—just activate the feature directly from your device.
What does Janby Track Mini offer me?
Janby Track Mini allows you to track cooking or retherming times for sous-vide preparations bag by bag, identifying each package and monitoring its cooking time.
With Janby Track Mini, you can:
- Scan JANBY Tags directly on your SmartVide XL: No need for an additional tablet. You can perform controlled cooking simply by scanning the JANBY Tags using the built-in reader on the SmartVide XL.
- Store up to 8 regeneration programs: Create and customize up to 8 different programs for each type of regeneration.
- Monitor each portion by color and time: View the progress of each batch on the SmartVide XL, with clear and simple details of remaining and extra time.
How do I activate the license on my device?
Activating the Janby Track Mini license is simple and completely free.
Just follow these steps:
- Go to the JANBY Cloud activation menu on your SmartVide XL. This will appear when setting up the device for the first time or by clicking on the Settings icon on the main screen > Janby Cloud.
- Enter your email and the SmartVide activation code (you can find the code on the back of the device). You will also be asked for your company name.
- That’s it! A Janby Cloud account will automatically be created for your email, and Janby Track Mini will be activated on your SmartVide XL.

Can I benefit from the free license?
Yes! If you already own a SmartVide XL, you can also take advantage of this free license forever.
All you need to do is update the firmware to the latest version, and that’s it! You’ll be able to enjoy all the benefits of Janby Track Mini.
